He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stringer and Pauline Stringer (Fuller); his son Preston Wayne Stringer; and his sister Nellie Frances Stringer. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Stringer of Frankston; his son John Stringer (Renee) of Frankston; his brother John Wayne Stringer (Mary) of Arkansas; his grandson Dakota Stringer (Skylie) of Frankston; and his great grandchildren, Tucker, Laramie, Maddox and Bellamie.
