He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Beard and Clara Beard (Lavassar); his brothers, Max Beard Sr. and Garnett Beard Sr.; his children, Kathryn Rene and Vince Beard; and his daughter-in-law Susan Burks Beard.
He is survived by: his son Kevin Beard; the mother of his children Trina Beard of Frankston; his grandchild Lauren Wright (Brent) of Springtown; and his great grandchildren, Harper, Marshall, Nolan and Braydon Wright. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
