He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Evans and Juanita Evans (Corley). He is survived by: his close friend Patricia Holitzke of Frankston; his children, Ed Evans (Winna) of Texarkana, Elaine Stein of Colton, NY and Amy Evans of Texarkana; and his sister Lorna Philips (Ed) of Tyler. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
