He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Oliver and Fayrene McDonald (Weesner); his brother Larry Joe McDonald (Wine); and his daughter-in-law Julie Ann Brooks McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Kay Cook McDonald; his children, Kimberly Dale, Keith David and Kevin Cook McDonald; his grandchildren, Ashton Forester, Mason McDonald and Lauren McDonald; his great grandchildren, Harper JulieAnn Forester, Wilder Hayes Forester, Hazel Julianne McDonald and Hagen McDonald; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Cook and Rilea Cook. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (408 Garner St, Frankston, TX 75763). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
