He was predeceased by: his parents, Murphy Higginbotham and Lucille Higginbotham (Edwards); and his siblings, Danny, Donald, Melvin and Jeanie Monroe.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Higginbotham of Frankston; his sons, Ronnie Higginbotham (Amy) of Cedar Hill and Dennis Higginbotham (Nina) of Frankston; his sisters, Karen Loden (Raymond) of Rusk and Marilyn Nowell (Walter) of Alto; and his grandchildren, Kamren and Lilliun. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Frankston Methodist Church.
