He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Andrew and Wilma Juanita Bird (Simmons); and his nephew Brian Cooper. He is survived by: his daughters, Tiffany Durham (Tracy) of Palestine, Emily Sarver (James) of Ben Wheeler and Erica McKay (Bart) of Waco; his siblings, Mike Bird (Janie) of Frankston and Beverly Scheppler (Bud) of Bradford; his grandchildren, Brice, Austyn, Luke, Piper, Hudson, Caroline and Ross; and his great grandchildren, Beau, Harlan, Josephine, Hank and Brooks.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Autry Funeral Home - Frankston East (379 Pine St, Frankston, TX 75763). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
