He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gentry and Dora Gentry (Cook); his son William Gentry; and his siblings, Little B, Ester Louise, John Ross, Pauline, Vinson O'Neal, Robert Everett and Dora Ann "Doty".
He is survived by: his daughter Brenda Gentry; his sisters, Virginia Ann "Sue" Feazel and Julia "Judy" Taylor; his grandchildren, Garret, Fallon, Riley (Paige), L. G., Nicole, Tamara, Jennifer, Chance, Cooper, Holden, Tatum and Austin; and his great grandchildren, Haley of Gavin, C. J. and Olivia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
