He was predeceased by: his mother Marie Cole Phillips; his brother Danny Phillips; and his son Chris Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Helen Phillips; his daughters, Renee Phillips and Stacy Sanders; his sisters, Janis Herbert (Scott) and Lauri Mask (Matt); his grandchildren, Sarah Phillips, James Brantner, Jr., Jacob Sanders and Joel Phillips; and his great grandchild Evelyn Marie Phillips. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

Memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Ronnie Phillips in lieu of flowers.
