He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Clifton, Ila Ray Barnett, J. W. and Marian Martine; his stepfather Alvin Schiller; and his cousin Emily Nichols.

He is survived by: his parents, Garland Wynn Martine (Bettie) of Bryan and Ila Ruth "Ruthie" Barnett of Camp Creek; his stepsisters, Melissa Schiller of Bryan and Damon Schiller (Karen) of Willis; his aunts, Delayne Nichols of Wheelock, Ettie Orts (Mike) of Wheelock and Malta Wilkerson of College Station; and his cousins, Shelly Speaks (Kenneth), Kimberly Becan (Charles), Chad Nichols and Kip Nichols (Kristy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other cousins and many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (205 Morgan St, Franklin, TX 77856). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church P.O. Box 365 Franklin, Texas 77856 or to the charity of choice.
