He is survived by: his siblings, Stanley Dry of New Iberia, Diana Eugenia Dry of Houston and Angela Dry Garrett (Dennis) of Key Largo, Florida.; his daughter Vivianne Lynn Ratliff (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Magan McCarthy (Jeff), James Ratliff (Jessica) and Jacqueline Roark (Shane); his great grandchildren, Emery, Wyatt and Gavin; and his nieces and nephews, Sharlot Johnson (Doug), Angel Milstead (Chris), Shaun Garrett (Brandi), Jack Hunter, Hugh Walker, Quinn, Hank, Levi, Tyler and Vanna Bella.
He enjoyed reading, making ceramics and writing short stories until he got Parkinson's disease and had trouble writing.
