She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Philmore "Sonny" Elliott and Dorothy Mae Reynolds Elliott; her husband Raymond "Butch" Batten; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Adams, James Sanders, Jerry Miller and Ralph McKinney.
She is survived by: her sons, Chuck Batten of College Station, Eric Batten of Dallas and Brian (Tiffany Batten); her granddaughter Debbie McMahan (Jerry) of Lubbock; her aunt Jeanetta "Jo" Reynolds Polston (James) of Mesquite; her sisters, Patsy Sanders of Franklin, Judy and Charley Clark of College Station; her grandchildren, Zachery Batten, Tristan Batten, Reed Batten, Emory Batten and Caitlin Paden (T. J.); her nieces and nephews, Julie Brooks (William), Jon Clark, Keith Sanders (Lisa), Terry Sanders and Phil Sanders (Stephanie); and her siblings-in-law, Herbert, Rita Batten, Bobby Adams, Helen McKinney, Joyce Miller and Linda Ricketson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
