It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melissa Ann Martin of Franklin, Texas, born in Navasota, Texas, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father John Boyd McClellan. She is survived by: her husband Larry Martin of Franklin; her daughter Larissa; her son-in-law Kyle Lutz; her sons, Landon Martin and Laramie (Sarah Martin); her mother Ann McClellan; her siblings, Stephen (Joyce McClellan), Michael McClellan, James (Linda McClellan) and Dorothy Hughes; and her grandchildren, Kylar, Kolter and Kase Lutz. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCauley Funeral Home (101 E Decherd St, Franklin, TX 77856). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Baden Baptist Church (3662 New Baden-Mt Pleasant Rd, Franklin, TX 77856). A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Easterly Cemetery (8169 US-79, Franklin, TX 77856).
