He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Bishop Hancock and James Hancock; his daughter Mary Ann Harper; and his siblings, Travis Hancock, James Hancock, Wayne Hancock, Opal Green and Eddie Ruth Barnett.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Hancock of Franklin, Leslie (Linda Hancock) and Rodney (Trudy Hancock); his sister Annette; his brother-in-law Buddy Nichols of Friendswood; and his grandchildren, Crystle Gustavus, Chris, Bobbie Collins, Nathan, Shannon Martel, Rick, Mitchell Threadgill, Carolyn, Leslie Hancock, III, Rainie, Rebekah Callaway, Tiffany McCarver and Dylan Harper. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
