She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Hollon and Rosie Carlisle Hollon; and her siblings, Garland Hollon and Earlene Dehnisch. She is survived by: her husband James Howell Porter; her children, Jimmy, Jeanne and Debby Porter of Cold Spring; her children-in-law, Luane Porter of Alpine and Mike Brewer (Duba) of Franklin; and her sister Mary Jo Tobin of Dallas. She is also survived by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many dear nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Ella Jean Porter to First Baptist Church of Mathis or South Texas Children's Home.
