It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Bill Embra Jr. (Franklin, Texas), born in Edna, Texas, who passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aline Embra, Sr. and Eddie Embra,; his wife Julia Ann; and his daughter Julia Marie. He is survived by: his daughters, Eileen Embra (Roshumere) of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Edna Yelland of Detroit and Anissa Wilburn-Embra (David) of Rockdale; his siblings, Donald Embra (Hazel) and Virginia Smith (Gerald); his grandchildren, Terri Grier, Tahmara Grier, Kamryn Breuhan, Koneiko Nelson (Amanda), Excell Nelson, Edward Dansby, Jr. (Marissa), Anthony Dansby, Keontae Embra-Hobbs, Kiara Embra-Hobbs, Jeremy Steele and Jamila Steel; and his sister Geneva Niles. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles, cousins and step-children.
