Sharon Franklin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Franklin of Fowlerton, Texas, born in Refugio, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Sharon farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sharon is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Brittain and Emily Brittain; her husband Leo Jerome "LJ" Franklin Jr.; and her sister Catherine Louise Brooks Brittain. She is survived by: her brothers, James Thomas Brittain (Deborah) and Jeff W. Brittain (Linda); and her brother-in-law Wayne Brooks. She is also survived by 6 nephews and great-nephews and 3 nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home (118 W Oaklawn Rd, Pleasanton, TX 78064). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
