He is survived by: his spouse Betty Schulz Keene; his children, Chris Scruggs, Harold Scruggs, Kimberly Keene and Tracy Minter (Mike); his siblings, Keith Keene (Shirley) and Ava Henson (Dale); his grandchildren, William Wesala (Niki), Stephen Renfro, Lindsey Renfro, Kathryne Minter, Jocelyn King, Hali Pearce, Morgan King, Mikala Pearce, Austin King, Jarret King and Grace Minter; his great grandchildren, William Jr., Adrien, Jason, Tobie, Braxton and Carson; and his pet ShortStuff.
The family invites donations in William's name to James L. West Community Hospice.
