He was predeceased by: his wife Carlene Deering; his daughter Nancy Hansen; and his siblings, Robert Deering, Winifred Reese and Sharian Deering.
He is survived by: his sister Alicia DuVall; his daughters, Catherine York and Susan Deering-Frank; his grandchildren, Shelby Ray, Colby Hansen, Carly York, Adelle York, Lauren York, Avery Deering-Frank and Aidan Deering-Frank; and his great grandchildren, Birdie Hansen and Wiley Carel.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Burleson Memorial Cemetery (490 Memorial Plaza, Burleson, TX 76028).
His contributions to education and the unwavering love for his family will forever be remembered and celebrated. Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association and/or The Humane Society.
