It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wade Parkey (Fort Worth, Texas), who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Olen Parkey Jr. and Louise Parkey; his brother Nathan Parkey; his brother-in-law Kent Holt; and his nephew Danny Holt.
He is survived by: his wife Arvettia; his siblings, Steven Parkey (Sonya) and Carla Holt; his sister-in-law Kenda Parkey; his sons, Michael Parkey (Vikki) and Robert Parkey (Traci); and his grandchildren, Zane, Ryan (Sarah), Morgan (Maddie), Blake (Morgan Faire) and Savannah Parkey. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sandburg Room, Mount Olivet Chapel - Greenwood Funeral (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Mount Olivet Chapel (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111).
