She was predeceased by: her parents, Waldemar Eugene Schmidt and Eva Lippert Schmidt; her husband Clyde Winston Garrett; and her siblings, Dave Schmidt, Florence Clifford, Eunice Spruance and Lois Lundberg.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Garrett (Holly) of Fort Worth, Dan Garrett (Phyllis) and Sallie Wilmoth (John) of Eastland, Texas; her grandchildren, Amy Hehs (Eric), Adam Garrett (Sarah), Christie Strupe (Mike), Darrell Garrett, Brett Garrett, Annie Walker (Nick), Melanie Navarro (Cam) and Katy Simons (Kelly); and her great grandchildren, Andrew, Michael, Holly Ann Lemoine, Rose, Sam, Lilli Garrett, Garrett Strupe, Carly, Marshall Walker, Davey Navarro, John, Ruby, Jordan and Riley Simons.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Vitas Hospice, Community Hospice, or the Salvation Army.
