He was predeceased by: his parents, Tacy Peters and Joe Peters; his brother Jim; and his son David. He is survived by: his wife Betty Joe; his son Craig; his grandchildren, Aaron, Melissa, Blake (Hannah) and Shelby; his great grandchild Lainey Leigh; his niece Sheri Fesmire; and his nephew Mike Peters.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Greenwood's Live Oak Chapel (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
