We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2025, at the age of 83, Sylvia Elizabeth Melvin (Alexander, Arkansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Clemons and Lorean Buck; her sisters, Jimmie Lane Strickland and Bobbie Jean Murphy; and her son Derek Melvin.
She is survived by: her sons, Sander, Cacelia Melvin, Conlee and Lakeisha Melvin; her sister Maxine Ritchie; and her grandchildren, Natalie, Alexia, Callen, Talyah and Lauren. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pinecrest Funeral Home (7401 AR-5, Alexander, AR 72002). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pinecrest Memorial Park (7401 AR-5, Alexander, AR 72002). A committal service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
