He was predeceased by: his pets, Tara and Rosie; his parents, Bernice Rapfogel and Mortimer "Morty" Rapfogel; his sister Judith "Judy" Rapfogel Cooper; his aunts, Ruth, Anne Duboff Franzese, Syvia Portugal and Doris Schiff; his uncle Irving Rapfogel; and his cousins, Steven Duboff, Lynn Duboff and Susan Schiff.
He is survived by: his pets, Maddie and Bella; his daughter Lisa Rapfogel; his grandson Andrew Ostroff of Dallas; his son Robert Rapfogel (Sofia) of Houston; his nieces, Robin Frisbie and Stephanie Toppel (Steve); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alex Frisbie, Taylor Frisbie, Blakely Helene Toppel and Mandy Toppel; his cousins, Beth Roy (Mariah), Nan Freund (Evan), Richard Rapfogel, Alex Freund (Lisa), Jed Rapfogel, Karl Rapfogel (Jane Anne), Lucy Rapfogel, Max Freund (Cynthia) and Tuhin Roy; and his caregiver Gifty Adomako.
A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Memorial Park (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107).
