It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scotty Gene Grizzle in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Scotty Gene leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Scotty Monroe Grizzle and Jackie Joy Grizzle; and his sister Paula Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Grizzle; his sister Katharine Scott; his sons, Rob Grizzle and Eric Grizzle; and his grandchildren, Owen Worley and Ana Worley.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Thompson & Son Funeral Home (6009 Wedgwood Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76133).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in memory of Scotty be made to LinkED (a Fort Worth-based nonprofit organization that supports families of individuals with learning differences and disabilities).
