It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky M. Mitchell in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Ricky is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ricky's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mitchell and Gladys Mitchell; and his siblings, Jerry Mitchell and Patricia Fitzgerald (Frank Fitzgerald). He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Mitchell (Amanda), Josh Mitchell and Haley Parris (Michael); and his brother Alvis Mitchell (Carol). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home Chapel (850 N Cardinal Rd, Azle, TX 76020). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the Azleland Cemetery and Memorial Park (850 N Cardinal Rd, Azle, TX 76020).
