She was predeceased by: her parents, Bettye Lou Wells and Lenza Eugene Caffey, Jr.; and her son Carl William Russell II. She is survived by: her children, Lacey Jene Salas (Daniel) and Matthew Ray Russell; her son-in-law Scott Fowler; her grandchildren, Kacelynn Danielle Russell, Emmzlee Sue Russell and Nova Jene Salas; her siblings, Reba, Regina, Ruthie, Randy, Ronnie and Billy; and her nephew Darrell Caffey. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, honorary grandchildren, and cherished friends.
