He is survived by: his wife Mary Brackney; his close friend Joyce Edmondson; his children, James Bryant and Janet Bryant (Robert Mayweather); his nieces and nephews, Cindy, David, John, Jason, Chris, Jeff, Marian and Charley; his great grandchildren, Danny, Chase, Matthew (Tiffaney), Josh (Laura), Ethan, Noah and Olivia; his caregiver Julie Polk; and also, James, Jenny and Philip.

A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at the Greenwood Memorial Park (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107).
