We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2024, at the age of 95, Nick Joe Nelson of Fort Worth, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Nick Joe's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Nick Joe has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Clemens Nelson, Jr. and Francis Marie Sanderson Nelson; and his children, Frances Elaine and Daniel Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Mira Kirk Pace of Denver, Colorado.; and his daughters, Pamela Kay Gonce of Amarillo and Connie Marie Ward of McKinney, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends.
