He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Morris Pruit and Nancy Kathleen Pruit (Scott); his wife Christine Pruit; and his son Don Pruit. He is survived by: his sons, Aaron Pruit (D'awn) and Charles Pruit (Tracy); his grandchildren, Mo Pruit and Krista Reddy; his siblings, Lanna Pruit, Virginia Freeman and Linda Pruit Jackson; and his great grandchildren, Kendra, Charli, Brazos and Rylan.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (145 Oakwood Ave, Jacksboro, TX 76458).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Concerned Citizens of Jack County, 400 East Pine Street Jacksboro, Texas 76458.
