She is survived by: her children, Kristy Jenkins (Matthew) of Arlington, Texas and Michael Sanders Jr.; her grandchildren, Meagan Sanders (Nicholas) of Benbrook, Texas and Prestyn Sanders of Benbrook, Texas; her great grandchild Sutton Torres; her stepgrandchildren, Kennedy and Grace Jenkins; her siblings, Melissa Cole (David) of Williamsburg, Virginia, Michael Henderson (Shana) of Benbrook, Texas, Joyce Henderson, Ronald Hawkins and Donald Hawkins; and her nieces and nephews, Misty Kurnig, Leslie Cole, Natalie Cole, Grace Cole, Eric Wayne Hawkins, Jerry Barrera, Clara Clements and Dakota Clements.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Greenwood Funeral Home in Memorial Suites C and D (3344 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at the Greenwood Memorial Park (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107).
