He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrle Gunter and Peggy Plummer Gunter. He is survived by: his wife Julie Gunter; his stepson Jeremy Neeley (Nora); his sons, Riley (Morgan) and Cole (Kate); and his grandchildren, Mia and Maddox.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice or to The First Tee of Fort Worth.
