She was predeceased by: her children, Christopher Lee Burton and Dorothy Grismore; and her sisters, Annie Nelson, Dorothy Nelson and Tina Johnson.
She is survived by: her significant other Earnest Grismore; her children, Floyd Patricia Burton (Dorena), James Burton Jr., Tina Gamble (Bobby), Karolyn Grismore, Pamela Grismore Bennett, Sheryl Grismore Attaway (Corey) and David Grismore; and her siblings, Ida Mae Ware and James Johnson (Olivia). She is also survived by nieces and nephews; 24 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (3344 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 11:00 PM at the Greenwood Memorial Park (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107).
