He was predeceased by: his wife Doc Marie Roland; his parents, Marvin W. and Minnie Mae Roland (Martin); his brother Billy R. Roland; his stepmother Dulcie Roland; and his stepsisters, Juanita Berger and Ernestine Kapalski.
He is survived by: his wife Quinclyn Adams Roland; his children, Doc Marie Roland, Gay Taber (John), Janie Wilkerson (Douglas) and Wesley Roland (Brenda); and also, Stephanie Williams (Gary), Lisha Butler (Curtis) and Reagan Hillier. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
