As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Loyd Duwayne may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Counts and Kim Cathro (Alex Cathro); his grandchildren, Nicki Cathro Steen, Nick Steen, Ryan Cathro and Leigh Ann Cathro; and his great grandchild Everly Cathro. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Chapel (1200 S Collins St, Arlington, TX 76010).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to First Presbyterian Church, Shirley Counts music fund.
