It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lou Ann Lewellyn of Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Truitt and Lucille Truitt; her husband Jess Lewellyn Sr.; her son Jess Lewellyn Jr.; and her siblings, Wayne Truitt and Jane Kovarnik.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Hardie (Butch Hardie); her grandchildren, Brittany Allen, Caroline Hardie, Meggie Taylor, Ty Lewellyn and Jack Lewellyn; her great grandchild Jasper Allen; and her brother Jim Truitt. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wade Chapel (4140 W Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington, TX 76013). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Moore Memorial Gardens (1219 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012).
