She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Pearl Fortenberry (Ford) and Joseph Dawson Fortenberry; her husband Billy Charles Hopkins; and her siblings, Thomas Fortenberry and Janice Spann.
She is survived by: her daughter Dedra Maupin (John) of Fort Worth; her grandson Brandon Hickox of Fort Worth; her nieces, Cindy, Karen and Starla; and her nephew Tony.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Alpine Funeral Home (2300 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111).
