She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Vance Applegate and Louie White Applegate (Wallingford); her brother Harold D. Applegate; her husband James C. Holt; and her sons, John Leslie Holt and Jeffrey Alan Holt.
She is survived by: her children, Emily Holt Crocker (Dean) and James C. Holt Jr. (Cindy); her sister Martha Applegate Hardin; and her grandchildren, Christopher Charles Holt, Jessica Teague (Kevin) and Taylor Holt (Whitney). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends and neighbors.
