He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Thompson and Flora Thompson; his wife Carol Harris; his brother Gerald; his sister-in-law Louise Thompson; his nephew Charles "Dan" Thompson; his mother-in-law Juanita Harris; his siblings-in-law, Judy, Bill Giles and James "Jim" Harris; and his son-in-law Ronald Revland.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Allen, Bill of Fort Worth and Sandra Revland of Abilene; his grandchildren, Katelyn Campbell (Micah), Bryce Allen, Hali Revland-Pedroza (Alex) and Matthew Price; his great grandchildren, Troy, Trinity, Ozzy and Bonnie; his sister-in-law Patsy Harris; and his niece Catrina Chesnut (Gary).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamil Family Funeral Home (6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Elmwood Memorial Park (5750 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606).
