He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry "Buck" Nichols and Jewel Mabel Nichols (Cornelius); his sister Anna Hays (Nichols); and his son Kyle Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Kimberly Danley (Dan), Wade Swift (Shelly) and Wayne Swift (Sheryl); and his siblings, Ray Nichols (Sherrie), Jerry Nichols and Patty McCullough. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
