She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lewis and Janie Lewis; and her brother Willie Joe Lewis. She is survived by: her husband Arlis Dale Williams; her son Charles Bernard Whitaker; her stepchildren, Audrey Maxine (Alfonzo), Arlis Jr. (Cynthia) and Terry (Bettye); and her grandchildren, Jumesha (Jordan Sr), Breona, Bernard Jr. and Asia. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
