It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Lavern (Westbrook) Walters of Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Thurman and Faith Evelyn Westbrook (Hopper); her husband Hubert Walters (Lefty); and her siblings, Virginia Franklin, Johnny Westbrook and Bobby Westbrook.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Walters (Elayne) of Ft. Worth, TX, Diane Cummings (Patrick) of Sherman, TX and Tara Riley (Bob) of Denton, TX; her grandchildren, Justin Palmer, Cameron Bachman, Easton Walters of Fort Worth, TX, Kory Cummings (Jacky) of Sherman, TX, Scarlett Cummings of Sherman, TX, Brittany Dailey of Denton, TX, Blake Dailey (Claire) of Justin, TX and Brandon (Stephanie) of Rhome, TX; and her great grandchildren, Sidney Cummings, Mia Cummings, Gracelyn Dailey, Teagan Riley, Troy Riley and Nolan Riley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. (420 N Jackson, Magnolia, AR 71753). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
