He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Wood and Lauraine Wood; and his siblings, Lessie Jo Burkett, Bobbie Clara Andrews, Doris Louise Wilson and James Edward Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Dyan Wood; his children, Debra Rose (Scott) and Johnny Ray Wood (Cindy); and his grandchildren, Aaron Rose (Amanda), Brittany Wood, Bryson Wood (Amber) and Whitney Rose. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (3344 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Lakeside. A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at the Greenwood Memorial Park (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107).
