He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernardo Polanco and Esperanza Vega-Polanco; and his siblings, Jose Vega, Benny Polanco, Dora Garcia and Jessie Polanco.
He is survived by: his wife Senaida Renteria-Polanco; his children, Veronica Marie Young (Jared), John Polanco Jr. (Chelsea), Eva Anna Barfield (Christopher) and Christopher Jonathan Polanco (Martina); his grandchildren, Blake, Tyler, John Ray, Eli, Hunter, Michael, William and Nathan; his sisters, Mary Ann Polanco and Sylvia Polanco; and also Ray Vasquez.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home Chapel (850 N Cardinal Rd, Azle, TX 76020). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park (850 N Cardinal Rd, Azle, TX 76020).
