James Sidney Cox Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Sidney Cox of Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Sidney Cox to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Cox, Jr. and Margurite Haynes-Cox (Rita). He is survived by: his wife Judy; his daughters, Shannon Ingebritson (John) of Benbrook, Sarah Wright (Daniel) of Fort Worth and Megan Wood (Adam) of Hurst; his siblings, Carol Peterson of Shreveport, LA and Roger Cox (Sarena) of Homer, LA; and his grandchildren, Jack, Joshua, Lydia, Hannah, Elizabeth and Julian. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (3344 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen Presbyterian Church (2700 McPherson Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76109).
