He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Barrow and Frances Barrow; and his siblings, Charles, Ronnie, Danny and Shirley.

He is survived by: his wife Laura Barrow; his children, James "Brian" Barrow (Meghan), Scott Barrow (Jacy) and Frances Barrow-Garcia (Manuel); his grandchildren, Toni, Matthew, Michelle, Brianna, Rylee, Clarissa and James Allen; his great grandchild Blake; and his siblings, Raymond, Chester, Ricky and Dorothy.
