He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack B. Shreffler (Lorene Shreffler) and Josephine Dickinson (Bill Dickinson); and his brother Bill Dickinson. He is survived by: his wife Carrie Shreffler (VerSteegh); his son Jack Shreffler (Elaine); his grandsons, Jack Shreffler and Jacob (Madison Shreffler); his great grandchild Natalie Shreffler; and his sisters, Susan Moore (Doug), Mary Jo Smith (Lance), Jeanne Sanders (Brad) and Martia Emerich (Doug). He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Biggers Funeral Chapel (6100 Azle Ave, Lake Worth, TX 76135). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Dallas Fort-Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
