It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Jean Rawlings (Fort Worth, Texas), who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex Avery and Lois Avery; her husband Gerald; her son Jason; and her sister Gay Avery Troutman.
She is survived by: her children, Jerri Ellis (Mike) and Kirk Rawlings; her grandchildren, Tara, Billy and Bobby Ellis; her niece Camela Lathrop (Rich); and her great-niece Lydia.
Viewing was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laurel Land Funeral Home (7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76134). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025.
