She was predeceased by: her son Victor Owen; her parents, Nellie Winston Bennett and Thomas R. Bennett; and her siblings, Pearl Bennett, Dewey and Charles Bennett.
She is survived by: her daughter Cherilyn. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Greenwood's Live Oak Chapel (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A burial will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at the Greenwood Memorial Park (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to East Texas Hospice, where she was cared for in her final days.
