He was predeceased by: his wife Kathy Day; and his parents, John Day and Lila Day. He is survived by: his son Garrion Kindred (Trena); his sister Vandra Noel (Michael); his nieces and nephews, Ashley and Deandre Adams; his grandchildren, Garrion Jr., Alysia and Trevonne; his cousin Joel Lavender (Mary); and his pet Emma.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Martin Thompson & Son Chapel (6009 Wedgwood Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76133). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cedar Hill Memorial Park (8301 US Hwy 287, Arlington, Texas).
