He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Preston Carpenter and Alfreda Welling Carpenter; his spouse Lou Ann; his daughters, Keri (Donnie Dixon) and Kristy (Brad Cardinal); his sisters, Kay Smith and Vickie (Mike Trogden); his sister-in-law Susan Hittle; his son Jason Kendall; his grandchildren, Dillon (Milly), Kelsi, Haylee, Logann, Karah and Zoe; and his great-grandparent Meisha Kay. He was also cherished by his many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
